This year mass mailings with registration requirements will be sent via US Postal Service to all homes in the Centerburg LSD. Families will have to meet Job and Family Services income requirements and live in the school district. This allows grandparents who watch grandchildren during the 14-day break to receive the food and keep “all tummies full”. Home school families will also be alerted to food availability. All families with or without children will be eligible for food if they reside in the Centerburg LSD.

This distribution includes a 14-day supply of food at USDA food group recommended levels. We also include ham, turkey, fresh milk, eggs, fresh produce, spices, and pantry essentials (e.g. flour, sugar, oil, etc.). It will also include personal care items that include toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc. and basic home needs like toilet paper and cleaning supplies. In our Christmas break distribution, we include puzzles, board games, books of choice for each family member, and a wrapped toy gift for children 10 years old and younger.

Please remember 7 days of food is available monthly to all residents and a special senior program monthly to all who reside in the Centerburg LSD. Call (740) 625-1199 today to arrange for private pickup of food from the pantry or senior delivery the third Thursday of each month.
