Board Member Biography

Communications Specialist

"As a child if John watched you take something apart he would not forget and later try it himself - we soon learned to make sure he was not in the room when the television repairman serviced our set..." - Joyce Losego

It was a thirst for knowledge that continues within him today. In 1988 he joined the USAF and was trained as a Communications Specialist. Upon honorable discharge in 1995 he joined the IS team at Memorial Hospital of Union County where he maintained the hospital communication systems and the voice/data network for 14 remote primary healthcare offices. In 1998 he accepted a position at Tele-Communications, Inc. as an NEC Certified Technician installing and servicing PBX systems.  In 2002 he moved on to positions with Executone of Columbus and NBBJ Architects before establishing Centerburg Technology Center in April of 2002.

He presently enjoys servicing existing clients while marketing for new projects and lending his experience to the local Centerburg youth and non-profit organizations.

Family

John met his future wife Patricia at a friends Christmas party. They were soon married and Pat traveled to San Antonio, Texas where they bought their first home in Poteet. Pat's interest in veterinary services were sparked as a volunteer at the Bexar County Humane Society. Their first child, Alexander Keith, was born a military brat in February of 1994 at Wilford Hall Medical Center. It was not until they returned to Ohio that they had their second child, Cassandra Ellen, born at St. Ann's Medical Center in May of 2000. After a short stay in Columbus they purchased property in Centerburg, Ohio and built the home they live in today.

John is the first born child of three. His sister, Belinda Paul, lives with her husband Randy and their son Jeremy in Gahanna, Ohio. His brother Anthony also has a home in Gahanna. The three spent most of their lives growing up in Sunbury, Ohio and all graduated from Big Walnut HS.

Education

John is a Graduate of Big Walnut HS. His continued education has been an amalgam of collage courses, workshops, and manufacturer training classes spanning over twenty-five years.

BAFB Honor Guard

For two years of his military service he acted as  pallbearer as needed for veteran funeral honors, he was a member of the firing squad providing the  21-gun salute during funeral services. The honor guard also performed precision drill maneuvers for local parades.
